The Ghana Young Academy (GhYA) proudly welcomes its newest cohort of exceptional early- to mid-career researchers and professionals who have demonstrated excellence in their fields and a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, public engagement, and evidence-based policy influence.

This new class of members, drawn from the biochemistry, animal science and physics disciplines, embodies the spirit of innovation, scientific integrity, and national service that defines the Academy. Each member has been selected through a competitive process based on their academic achievements, leadership potential, and passion for using science and scholarship to address Ghana’s most pressing challenges.

As part of the Academy, the new members will contribute to GhYA’s mission of promoting science and research for the benefit of society. They will engage in cross-sectoral initiatives, mentor the next generation of scholars, and support efforts to make research more accessible and impactful. From addressing climate change and infectious diseases to improving education systems and promoting science diplomacy, these young leaders are poised to shape the future of Ghana and the wider global community.

We celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to the ideas, energy, and collaborations they will bring to the Academy. Welcome to the Ghana Young Academy!
