The Ghana Young Academy has been Selected for Interacademy Partnership’s African Academies Diaspora Fellows Programme


The African Academies Diaspora Fellows Programme is part of the InterAcademy Partnership’s project on Harnessing Science, Engineering, and Medicine to Address Africa’s Challenges, and aims to enable African academies of science, medicine or engineering to invite members of the African Diaspora to work with them on policy initiatives and/or other activities designed to strengthen the host academy.

The Ghana Young Academy has been awarded a grant to host Diaspora Fellow, Dr. Alice Matimba, Wellcome Genome Campus, UK. Dr. Matimba will be guiding the Executive Committee in the development of a 5-Year Strategic Plan. The Ghana Young Academy was one of seven(7) grantees awarded the grant.
